Adult Day Services

Vital Link

Vital Link Adult Day Center is for adults requiring care during the day. The well-trained staff provides understanding and loving care for each individual’s needs in cooperation with a physician’s advice. The environment includes: nutritious home-cooked meals in a relaxed and social atmosphere, stimulating group activities as well as outings to local attractions. The facility is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The State of Minnesota Department of Human Services licenses Vital Link and financial assistance is available to qualified applicants.

Current Projects

  • Spouse or caregiver has the opportunity for personal time
  • Social stimulation for the adult living alone
  • Assistance with medication and health monitoring
  • Assistance with hygiene care

Services

  • Transportation is free within a 10-mile radius
  • The Vital Link van is wheelchair accessible
  • Rest as needed
  • Home-cooked meals and snacks, served family-style
  • Socialization with a variety of ages

Nurse Supervision

  • Assistance with medications
  • Weight monitoring monthly
  • Blood pressure, pulse and respiration monitored weekly
  • Physicians consulted when needed
  • Bathing services

Meaningful Activities
